If you weren't aware, 10th Chippenham Scout Hut got severely damaged in the recent flooding. Please read their post below explaining about how they have been affected and what any donations you can give will go towards. The support we’ve received for 10th Chippenham Scout Group has been truly humbling—you’ve been absolutely incredible and we are overwhelmed by the support we have been offered.We have arranged for temporary accommodation to enable us to keep running our sessions but unfortunately this does come at a cost and getting back into our hut will not be a quick fix, we have also suffered loss and damage to some of our resources that we need to immediately replace.It is so important for us to keep running, we run sessions for just over 100 children and young people aged between 4-14 and they get so much from Scouting.We’d be so grateful if you could share the fundraising link with your contacts and local businesses. We've not been able to get a pitch at this years Christmas Lights, but we're not down hearted 😃.On Saturday 30th November 12pm to 6pm, our regular BBQ and Mulled Wine stall will be just a short walk away at the Scout Hall.We will also have the Hall open, for a warm place to sit and of course we're one of the few areas where we are happy for our toilets to be used.Please come along all proceeds go to running Calne's Scout Group. ...
