Volunteering Opportunities
There are a number of roles in the Group which are open for volunteers.
We are always interested in volunteer Assistance Leaders or Occasional Helpers, there are also the following roles for supporting the Group.
- Assistant Beaver Leader
- Assistant Cub Leader
- Assistant Scout Leader
- Public Relations Officer
- Whether it is posting exciting content into Facebook or letting the local press know what we are doing, we really good do with some help.
- Fundraising
- Financing the Group takes much more than the membership fees, we run regular events throughout the year. Please let us know if you would like to help or just have a great idea that you want to put into practice.
- Beaver Parent Representative
- If your child is a member of Red or Grey Squirrels and you would like to sit on the Group Executive Committee to represent all of the parent views of the Beaver sections.
- Cub Parent Representative
- If your child is a member of Bears or Wolves and you would like to sit on the Group Executive Committee to represent all of the parent views of the Cub sections.
- Scout Parent Representative
- If your child is a member of Eagles or Buzzards and you would like to sit on the Group Executive Committee to represent all of the parent views of the Scout sections.
