We’re really pleased and proud that the refurbishment of what was the boy’s toilets has now been completed into an all gender cloakroom.
Fresh and inviting offering 3 separate WCs, one with it’s own handbasin and electric hand dryer. Low energy motion activated lights have also been installed to help with the Scout Group’s energy usage. The area is no longer used as a store for the chairs and we have been able to reinstate the original brass coat hooks so any of the Hall users can use the area to hang their coats during their stay.
We would not have been able to do this without the support of our Trustee’s as well as two grants from the Calne Town Council and Wiltshire Council as well as our own fundraising efforts.
